ROUND 3 RESULTS AND
MATCH REPORTS
Apr
17:
We were lucky to be drawn to play on the best wet weather ground
on the Coast at Pat Morley Oval and, in the only three matches
played over the weekend, picked up wins in both grades as well as
in the U18As against The Entrance. In easily their best
performance of the season Reserve Grade dominated for most of the
match to come away with a confidence boosting 3-0 win with goals
to Mitch Dowzard (2) and Dut Atem. After two draws it was
important that First Grade didn't lose touch with the leaders and
the 2-1 win over the defending premiers and front runners should
give us some momentum from here on. Again we dominated the match
and should have put it out of reach well before full-time. Goals
to Marc Falzon and Michael Payne. For competition tables click

ROUND 2 RESULTS AND
MATCH REPORTS
Apr
10:
A couple of harder than expected games against newly-promoted
Killarney District. Both teams are settling into new playing
formats under their new coaches and the signs are good. Fill-in
Reserve Grade player/coach, Michael Kennedy, picked up his first
win downing Killarney 2-1 with goals to teenagers Brendan Harris
and Blake Silvers. After conceding a goal in first half injury
time, First Grade equalised through Marc Falzon in the 83rd minute
and were unlikely not to take all three points. For a full report

ROUND 2 RESULTS AND
MATCH REPORTS
Apr
10:
A tough start to the season, up against our great rivals Umina.
Reserve Grade went down 2-1 with 17-year-old Brendan Harris
scoring his first Premier League goal. After leading twice, the
first through a spectacular debut goal to 19-y-o Jack North, First
Grade had to settle for a 2-2 draw after losing a number of
players through injury.
