FIRST GRADE:  WYOMING 5 GOSFORD CITY 0

The boys are starting to get some momentum up with this, their fifth straight win consolidating top spot. Keelan Austen continued a memorable day (congratulations to Keelan and Eva on the birth that morning of Isabella) with a neat goal in the fourth minute, followed up in the 15th and 21st minute with goals from Marc Tarring and Darren Cooper. With a 3-0 lead we then switched to auto-pilot for the best part of an hour, never really threatened but unable to finish a number of opportunities. Late goals to Daniel Surridge and Chris Smith then closed off a comfortable but uninspiring win.

RESERVE GRADE: WYOMING 8 GOSFORD CITY 0

The boys continued their strong efforts from previous weeks and this time were rewarded with some fine goals.  Most of our shots were on target this week and the finishing and composure in front of goal improved considerably from previous weeks. Luke Gale deserves special mention for his four-goal effort, however all players contributed to a confidence-boosting result, including the four Under 21 players that were brought up as substitutes. Gosford never gave up for the 90 minutes but were outplayed on the day.

WYOMING 9 TUGGERAH 2

We started the game using an attacking formation and attack we did. It took just two minutes before Shorty opened the scoring. Then two minutes later Mills passed off a great ball to Carisa who slotted it past the keeper. Then in the 10th minutes Mills put one in the net after a top through ball from Mackie. Then Mackie put the ball in the back of the net. Tuggerah made a couple of changes and their game seemed to lift a bit. Jess scored in the 42nd minute after a lot of hard work. Mackie scored the next in the 59th after an excellent first time touch from goalie Bec straight to Mackie's feet. Mills put another away two minutes later, then Shorty in the 76th. Tuggerah had a few good passages of play which saw them convert in the 80th & 83rd mins. We responded again with Jess scoring a very hard fought goal in the 84th.
