PAYNEFUL NIGHT FOR KANWAL AS TIGERS RUN RIOT
May 12:
Michael Payne has joined teammate Marc Falzon as the only Wyoming MPL First Grade players to score five goals in a match following Wyoming's emphatic 10-3 win over Kanwal at Wadalba on Saturday night. In a remarkable match Wyoming scored six of their goals playing one player short after defender Nathan Moseley was sent off in the 50th minute after a highly dubious penalty decision which saw Kanwal reduce Wyoming's lead to 4-2. Ryan Frame scored a hat-trick with Mark Bellemore and Moseley also finding the net. Falzon scored all five goals in a 5-0 win over Budgewoi at Bloodtree Oval in 2010.
BENJI STARS AS TIGERS TAME THE DRAGONS
Apr 14: Wyoming’s exciting young striker, Benji Gossen, made the most of a late call-up scoring four goals in his first grade debut as Wyoming cruised to a comfortable 5-1 win over Gosford City at Gavenlock Oval in Round 2 of the season. Michael Payne opened the scoring in the 13th minute (pictured) followed by two goals in as many minutes by Benji  who completed his hat-trick just before the break to give the Tigers a 4-0 lead. Gosford halted our momentum with a goal early in the second half and as it wasn't until three minutes that Benji earned an early mark with his fourth goal. With so many changes in personnel the lower grades again struggled although Third Grade did put in an outstanding effort to earn a 3-3 draw after playing for most of the match with 10 men. Reserve Grade went down 3-2.
'COOPS'  TAKES OUT NEW AWARD
Sep 15: Wyoming's Darren Cooper has become the first winner of the Andrew French Medal as Player of the Match in the 2012 First Grade grand final. The award recognises the outstanding contribution by one of the Central Coast's greatest players, Andrew French, who retired from first grade at the end of last year's grand final, appropriately enough as captain of the winning Umina team and after 20 years as a first grader.
BOB'S BIG DAY
Sep 15: One person who couldn't get to Pluim Park to celebrate Wyoming's three MPL wins was Third Grade Manager, Bob Bowman, who had previously booked a trip back to his native England to visit his family ... and to grab the chance to watch his beloved Manchester United in action. Bob was so confident of the Tigers winning that he packed his club jacket and said that he'd send back a photo of him holding the jacket in front of Old Trafford with three fingers up to indicate three premierships.
And, true to his word, here's Bob shortly before Man U topped off a perfect day with a 4-0 win over Wigan.

FIRST & RESERVE GRADES BOTH THROUGH TO GRAND FINALS
Sep 2: "When the going gets tough .." and so it proved with both of Wyoming's top two grades winning through to their respective grand finals with wins over Berkeley Vale and Third Grade showing they've got what it takes to beat the Wombats despite going down. First Grade rediscovered their true form to outclass the league champions as they'd done in the second round match with Darren Cooper putting in what many experienced observers saw as one of the most outstanding performances ever seen by a Wyoming player and capped by a brilliant goal. But there were excellent efforts right across the park - including yet another 'Surrzon' goal - by a team that is now back to their best.

Reserve Grade
saw yet another titanic encounter against Berkeley Vale and yet another 1-0 win, the same scoreline as in last year's Major Semi, Grand Final and this year's CC Cup. It just took a bit longer this time with Keelan Austen's 93rd minute goal clinching the game. Third Grade put in a great effort, taking the early lead, before going down 3-1 to the league champions but showing that they have the ability to turn that result around if they can get past East Gosford next Sunday.

THIRD GRADE WRAP UP TOP TWO SPOT, FIRST GRADE STILL ON TARGET DESPITE THIRD STRAIGHT LOSS
Aug 19: A hard-fought 1-0 win over Umina has guaranteed Third Grade second place and the second-chance spot in the major semi-final. Jacob Gilbert finished off an excellent team goal in the 15th minute. It was business as usual for Reserve Grade who chalked up their 13th win of the season downing Umina 4-2 with Blake Silvers (2), Luke Gale and Keelan Austen all on target. The team will be presented with the league championship trophy and medallions after next Sunday's match against East Gosford at Alan Davidson Park. It was another frustrating game for First Grade who, despite dominating possession for most of the match, were unable to score, going down 2-0. They now drop to second place, one behind Berkeley Vale and need to beat East Gosford next week and hope that Umina either defeats or draws with Berkeley Vale.
RESERVE GRADE WRAPS UP LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP
Aug 12: In a day of mixed, but overall disappointing, results Wyoming were beaten 2-1 by Umina in First Grade, won 1-0 and wrapped up the League Championship in Reserve Grade and had a 1-1 draw in Third Grade. For the second week in a row First Grade surrendered a 1-0 lead (scored by Marc Falzon) with a contentious penalty deciding the game. Despite again playing the better football we couldn't capitalise on a limited number of scoring opportunities. The result means the team now shares top spot with Berkeley Vale but with a superior goal difference can still take the title with wins in each of its remaining two matches. Reserve Grade bounced back from their first loss of the season last week with a hard-fought win that wasn't decided until Luke Gale's late penalty. It gave the team a 9-point lead and guaranteed that they would take out the League Championship, a third straight title for the team following its 2011 Premiership and this year's CC Cup. Congratulations to all involved - now for the premiership. Third Grade were held to a 1-1 draw which saw them retain second place with a 4-point buffer over three teams in equal third place. Benji Gosson's goal took his season tally to 21.
ALL TEAMS STILL ON TARGET DESPITE LOSSES
Aug 5: In easily the worst performance of the season all three Wyoming Premier League teams have been beaten by Killarney District at EDSACC North. First Grade looked to have their match in control, leading 1-0 following a Michael Payne penalty late in the first half however Killarney's counter-attacking strategy paid off with two goals in three minutes giving them a 2-1 win. Reserve Grade's unbeaten run of 23 matches came to an end when they conceded a goal in the first half and, despite returning to their dominant best in the second half couldn't score. Third Grade were outclassed by a young Killarney team, losing 5-0. Both First and Reserves Grade are still on top of their respective grades with leads of 3 and 6 points respectively, and big goal difference advantages, while Third Grade are still second, 4 points behind the leaders.
WYOMING PASSES TEST OF DEPTH
Jul 28: Despite having almost a quarter of its squad unavailable Wyoming have chalked up yet another clean sweep, this time against the strong Budgewoi club at Pluim Park. After leading 2-0 midway through the second half Third Grade scored five goals in 23 minutes for a 7-0 win with Benji Gosson (pictured) equaling Marc Falzon's MPL record of five goals and taking his season tally to 20. Jacob Gilbert scored the other two goals. Reserve Grade had a tougher match than the 3-1 socreline suggests with Mark Bellemore (2) and Keelan Austen scoring. The win takes the team's unbeaten record to 23 matches and means that they have now gone 12 months without defeat including wins in the 2011 Grand Final and 2012 Central Coast Cup. First Grade showed huge character to come back from 1-0 down after 68 minutes to win 2-1 in one of their toughest matches of the season with strike twins Michael Payne and Jack Payne each scoring, both goals set up by Man of the Match Daniel Surridge.
CLEAN SWEEP IN THE MUD
Jul 23: Wyoming has taken out its eighth clean sweep from 13 rounds with wins in all three grades against Avoca. First Grade, playing on Saturday night, were extended by an enthusiastic young team but two goals to Jack North late in each half proved enough for a 2-0 win. Reserve Grade were awesome in very muddy conditions as they demolished Avoca 11-0 with hat tricks to Mark Bellemore, Andy Klijn and Keelan Austen. Earlier Third Grade had won 7-1 with Blake Silvers scoring four in his return from injury. First and Reserve Grades are now 6 and 7 points clear at the top of their respective tables with Third Grade now in clear second place, 4 points away from top spot.

WYOMING NOW CLEAR LEADERS IN TWO TOP GRADES
Jul 15: In front of one of the largest Premier League crowds for many years Wyoming's First Grade team has taken a clear lead in the competition with a crushing 4-0 win over Berkeley Vale. An early goal to Jack North set the scene and the Tigers dominated the game throughout with Michael Payne, Nathan Moseley and Daniel Surridge (pen) also scoring. Wyoming is now 3 points ahead of Berkeley Vale but with 25 goal difference advantage, effectively 4 points clear. Although held to a 2-2 draw (goals to Paul Jones and Jarrod Mears) in Reserve Grade Wyoming is now 7 points clear at the top of the table (with a +14 goal advantage) and have extended their unbeaten run to 21 matches. Third Grade also drew against the competition leaders but remain in second place. Liam Lomax scored Wyoming's goal. For the full MPL First Grade Round 14 match summary click here.

BIG WINS IN ALL GRADES AS WYOMING OUTCLASS DOYALSON
Jul 8:  In one of the most dominant performances ever seen in the Mens Premier League competition Wyoming has recorded huge wins on all three grades against Doyalson. Both First and Third grades won 9-0 with Reserve Grade 'only' winning 5-0. Benji Gosson with four goals in Third Grade was the star ahead of Jack North and Daniel Surridge who each recorded First Grade hat tricks. The results mean that in the six matches against Doyalson this season Wyoming has scored 41 goals without conceding any. For the full MPL First Grade Round 13 match summary click here.
FIRST GRADE STAY ON TOP DESPITE FIRST LOSS
Jul 1: Despite dominating possession and territory for the majority of the match Wyoming's First Grade team has been beaten for the first time, going down 1-0 to Kanwal. Always motivated against us Kanwal defended tenaciously for the entire game and scored the only goal in a counter-attack. Reserve Grade extended its competition lead to 6 points and its unbeaten run to 19 games with a comfortable 3-1 win. Goals to Mark Bellemore, Tony Cornwell and Andy Klijn, before conceding just their third goal of the season. It was a similar score and story in Third Grade with Thai Clarke, Michael Kennedy and Benji Gosson scoring. For the full MPL First Grade Round 12 match summary click here.
BACK TO BUSINESS WITH WINS IN ALL GRADES
Jun 24: Despite scares in both First and Third Grades it was business as usual after the four-week weather break against The Entrance as the Tigers won all three grades for the sixth time in nine rounds. Despite dominating for the entire match it took Third Grade until the 82nd minute to win a very frustrating match with Benji Gosson scoring. Reserve Grade extended their competition lead to four points with another flawless performance winning 3-0 and extending their unbeaten run to 18 matches. Goals to Daniel Edwards (2) and Blake Silvers. In a topsy-turvy match First Grade scored two goals in the first 7 minutes and four in the last 15, but were under severe pressure from a 10-man Entrance team for much of the match. Michael Payne's penalty has made him the competition's top-scorer with Jack North (2), Marc Falzon, Daniel Edwards, Darren Cooper and Keelan Austen also scoring. For the full MPL First Grade Round 11 match summary click here.
ANOTHER 9-POINT DAY FOR PREMIER LEAGUE
May 27: Wyoming has passed one of their sternest tests of the season winning all three grades against the strong Killarney club. First Grade put in probably their best overall performance to win 3-0. They were especially dominant in the second half to outclass a quality opponent that was on top of the table a fortnight ago. The return to form of Jack and Payney has given the team a huge boost and they are forming a great partnership. It was a similar story in Reserve Grade, against the only other unbeaten team in the comp, winning 2-0. Keelan Austen got us off to a great start when Killarney conceded a penalty after a great run from Blake Silvers with Paul Jones doubling the lead in the 30th minute. Third Grade returned to form with an emphatic 5-1 win. Goals to Benji Gosson, Tony Cornwell, the Dowzard brothers and Thai Clarke. For the full MPL First Grade Round 8 match summary click here.
FIRST/RESERVE GRADE STILL UNBEATEN AND ON TOP AFTER ROUND 7
May 20: In the first of a string of tough matches Wyoming's First Grade team has defeated Budgewoi 4-1 in a tense match marred by three send-offs, two straight reds to Budgewoi players and a double yellow to Wyoming. Although Wyoming looked to be well on top prior to the Budgewoi send-offs (in the 41st and 60th minutes) Budgewoi are sure to be chasing revenge when the two teams meet next time. Reserve Grade were unlucky not to take all three points in another tough, physical match against the best opponents they've met so far. Although conceding goals for the first time this season the team remains unbeaten since Round 16 in 2011, a total of 16 straight matches. Third Grade were again disappointing going down 2-1 after leading 1-0 but are still in equal second place. For the full MPL First Grade Round 7 match summary click here.

FIRST GRADE MOVES BACK TO THE TOP WITH BIG WIN OVER AVOCA
May 13: Hat-tricks to Michael Payne in First Grade and Keelan Austen in Reserve Grade were the highlights of Wyoming's three wins in Round 6 MPL matches at Alan Davidson Park. First Grade had a comfortable 4-1 win over Avoca with Jack North also scoring. Reserve Grade chalked up yet another clean sheet (their ninth in a row) and extended their unbeaten run to 15 matches with an impressive 5-0 win while Third Grade, although not at their best were able to return to winning form with a 3-2 and remain in second place. For the full MPL First Grade Round 6 match summary click here.
LATE GOALS HURT WYOMING'S MPL CHALLENGES
May 6: The Wyoming MPL squad has suffered its first loss of the season with Third Grade beaten 2-1 by Berkeley Vale at Mingara. After dominating the first half Wyoming were swamped by the home team in the second half, losing in the last minute. Reserve Grade were held to a 0-0 draw against our arch-rvials and opponents in last year's grand final and this year's CC Cup Final. The result extends the team's unbeaten run to 14 matches including clean sheets in each of its last 8 matches. A brilliant strike by Graham Toope midway through the second half looked to have given First Grade a win however a goal by Berkeley Vale deep into injury time meant that they had to settle for a 2-2 draw. RECORD WIN TO FIRST GRADE IN ANOTHER CLEAN SWEEP DAY
Apr 29: In a stunning performance Wyoming's three MPL teams have each cruised to comfortable wins against Doyalson with the highlight of the day being a record 10-0 win by a rampaging First Grade team. After taking 20 minutes for the first goal the floodgates opened after Michael Payne started the scoring. Man of the Match, Daniel Edwards, grabbed a 9-minute hat-trick either side if half-time while Daniel Surridge and Jack North scored doubles. The highlight of the match however came in the 89th minute when Graham Toope's ended a frustrating match with a headed goal that saw the large sideline crowd erupt. A brilliant exhibition of quality football by the boys, albeit against a team that fell away badly and gave us far too much room. The score surpasses the 9-0 win over Terrigal in 2007 as Wyoming's biggest ever win in First Grade and is believed to be the biggest in the comeptition by any team. While both lower grades had comfortable wins their finishing left a lot to be desired and they'll need to sharpen up for next Sunday's matches against Berkeley Vale. Reserve Grade skipper Luke Gale had an outstanding match as did Andy Klijn who picked up a couple of goals. Jamie McLafferty continued his excellent form in Third Grade with Thai Clarke (2), Liam Lomax and Benji Gosson all finding the net. All three grades are now on top of their respective tables on goal difference.

BIG DAY OUT AS TIGERS STAY UNBEATEN IN ALL THREE GRADES
Apr 22: In their most dominant day for many seasons all three Wyoming MPL teams recorded big wins over Kanwal scoring a total of 16 goals and conceding just one, and that an unlucky own goal. Third Grade made it three straight with a 3-0 win with Benji Gosson grabbing his third straight double and Mick Kennedy also on the scoresheet. Reserve Grade took their record to 11 successive wins with a 7-0 hammering of Kanwal. Keelan Austen scored four goals with one each to Matt Gravas, Blake Silvers and a first senior goal to substitute Jacob Gilbert. Kanwal proved a handful for Wyoming last season but there were no such problems this time around as First Grade won 6-1 to also remain unbeaten. Goals to Marc Falzon (2), Graham Toope, Michael Payne, Jack North and Daniel Surridge.
THREE OUT OF THREE FOR PREMIER LEAGUE
Apr 15: The Wyoming MPL squad has had its first nine-point day with all three grades chalking up impressive wins against The Entrance and remaining unbeaten in all grades. Despite squandering numerous chances Third Grade ran out comfortable 4-1 winners with rookie striker Benji Gosson picking up his second double in two games. Excellent perfomance in defence from Jamie McLafferty. Second Grade had a tougher than expected match and it wasn't until late in the match that the ever-reliable Matt Gravas scored the only goal of the match. It was the defending premiers/Cup winners tenth straight win. First Grade overcame an early setback when The Entrance scored in the first minute to put in their best team performance since their big win over Berkeley Vale last season. Led by midfielders Darren Cooper and Graham Toope Wyoming were in complete control for the last 70 minutes of the game with poor finishing again being the only problem. THE GRANGE RAFFLE COMMENCES THIS FRIDAY NIGHT (13 APRIL)
Apr 9: The Grange Meat Raffles begin this Friday night. This year's Grange sponsorship was nearly lost because of the poor turn up at the raffles last year and it is essential that at least nine players are in attendance to run the raffle each fortnight. Players were given a copy of the roster at the contract signing but a copy will also be posted on the notice board at the Alan Davidson Park Clubhouse and is also available here. If any player is unable to attend, including those who are under 18, it is their responsibility to arrange for another player to take their place and to text the name of their replacement to Al Kennedy on 0412 060 250. Note that the minimum requirement is nine players, others are encouraged to attend. Rostered players should be in the public bar by 5.15pm to commence selling tickets at 5.30pm.
WYOMING WINS INAUGURAL COUNTRYNET FAIR PLAY AWARD
Apr 9: The Wyoming FC has taken out the inaugural CountryNet Fair Play award on the opening round of the 2012 MPL season played at Pluim Park over the weekend. Wyoming was the only one of the ten MPL First Grade teams not to receive a yellow or red card. The prize is a brand new notebook computer which was presented to Club President, Kevin Lee, and First Grade Coach, Steve Frame, by CountryNet CEO, Simon Totonjian, at Pluim Park today.

TWO WINS AND A DRAW FOR WYOMING IN ROUND 1 OF MPL SEASON
Apr 1: Two goals in the last two minutes of the match by Marc Falzon have rescued a point for First Grade in their opening round match of the 2102 premiership against East Gosford. The Rams looked certain to win what had been a fiery local derby at Pluim Park before Falzo's late strikes. Congratulations and thanks to Gabby for letting Marc play just two days after their wedding! Reserve Grade continued on their winning way chalking up a ninth straight win in all competitions with a comfortable 2-0 win with goals to Keelan Austen and Mark Bellemore while, in the first match in the new Third Grade competition, Wyoming dominated throughout for a 5-2 win with goals to Benji Gosson (2) Mitch Dowzard, Anthony Skinner and Brendan Harris.
WYOMING TAKES OUT RESERVE GRADE CENTRAL COAST CUP
Mar 18: Wyoming has taken out the inaugural Reserve Grade Central Coast Cup with a last gasp 1-0 over Berkeley Vale at Pluim Park. The match was a fitting end to the new competition with last season's Premier League Reserve Grade grand finalists again winning through to the decider. Wyoming dominated for long spells of the match but failed to convert a number of chances. Again replicating the 2011 grand final, the only goal of the match was scored by Daniel Edwards with only two minutes left in the second half of extra time.
MIXED FORTUNES FOR WYOMING IN CENTRAL COAST CUP SEMI-FINALS
Mar 15: Wyoming's Central Coast Cup hoodoo has continued with the First Grade team beaten 4-1 by Berkeley Vale in their semi-final at Pluim Park last night. Despite the scoreline the result was in the balance until the last five minutes after Wyoming fought back strongly from a poor first half which saw them 2-0 down at the break. Earlier Reserve Grade had won through to Sunday's Cup Final with a 2-0 win over The Entrance in their semi with goals in each half to Sean McLafferty and Mitch Dowzard. Wyoming will now meet Berkeley Vale in a replay of last season's Premier League Reserve Grade grand final.
WYOMING THROUGH TO CENTRAL COAST CUP SEMI-FINALS
Mar 12: Both Wyoming teams are through to the Central Coast Cup semi-finals following quarter-finals wins on Sunday. Despite dominating the match throughout First Grade were given a scare when two long-distance goals gave Doyalson a 2-1 lead midway through the second half. Earlier Eddy had beaten his 32-second grand final scoring record by finding the net within 10 seconds of taking the field from the interchange bench. A goal to Falzo in the 72nd minute settled our nerves before Jack clinched the win three minutes from time. Reserve Grade were never really threatened against The Entrance following a great start which saw Blake give us the lead in the first minute. Any risk of a comeback from the Gulls was snuffed out by a double from Matt Gravas early in the second half. Both teams are back on deck on Wednesday night on Pluim Park No 2, Reserve Grade against Kanwal from 6.15pm and First Grade against Berkeley Vale at 8.15pm.
CENTRAL COAST CUP ROUND 3 MATCHES WASHED OUT
Mar 4: All third round matches in the Central Coast Cup have been washed out. Wyoming has qualified for next Sunday's quarter-finals in both grades.
CENTRAL COAST CUP ROUND 2 vs TERRIGAL
Feb 25: Wyoming has continued its unbeaten run in the 2012 Central Coast Cup with wins in both grades against Division One club Terrigal at Budgewoi FC. Although they conceded two goals Reserve Grade were never extended in winning 5-2. Highlight of the match was Ballard's 27th minute 'bomb' from 30 metres out. The lowlight was coach Kenno's decision to immediately take him to the interchange bench where he spent the rest of the half describing the goal to everyone within earshot and even posting it onto Facebook. Classy performances by Jarred Mears and James Dowzard. First Grade put in a much improved performance in winning their match 4-0. Chiji 'outbombed' Ballard to open the scoring in the 8th minute and it was pretty much one-way traffic from there on. With the preliminaries out of the way, next Saturday's matches against East Gosford will determine whether we finish first or second in each grade.
CENTRAL COAST CUP ROUND 1 vs WOONGARRAH
Feb 19: The emergence of two exciting young talents was the highlight of Wyoming's first round matches in the 2012 Central Coast Cup. Neither team was extended against Division One club, Woongarrah although it took First Grade until the 70th minute to score their opening goal before cruising to a 3-0 win. A most impressive debut by 17-year-old Andy Klijn, last year's Junior Player of the Year, who came on midway through the second half and play a part in two of the three goals. Reserve Grade were never troubled, downing Woongarrah 6-0. Another 17yo, Benji Gosson, also made a major impact with his pace, strength and skill.
2012 MENS PREMIER LEAGUE SQUAD
Feb 13: The 2012 Mens Premier League squad has been named. With the addition of a new MPL Third Grade competition this year the squad has been expanded to 40 players and presented the selection panel with the extremely difficult task of narrowing the squad down from the nearly 60 players who trialled. With an average age of just 23 it's one of the youngest squads on record and, following on from taking out the 2012 Reserve Grade premiership with an even younger team, augurs well for the upcoming season which kicks off at Pluim Park on the weekend of 31 March/1 April. Click here for details of the 2012 MPL squad.
2012 PREMIER LEAGUE PRE-SEASON TRAINING
Dec 15: Pre-season training and trials for the Mens Premier League squad will commence on Thursday 12 January from 6pm at Lisarow High School, Chamberlain Road, Lisarow. Anyone wishing to try out for the squad is encouraged to attend this and future training sessions on each subsequent Tuesday and Thursday night (same venue and times) until the start of the season on the weekend of March 31/April 1. For further information contact First Grade coach, Steve Frame, on 0432 279 122.
2012 PREMIER LEAGUE COACHING STAFF
Dec 13: The appointment of the club's 2012 Mens Premier League coaching staff has been completed. STEVE FRAME  is in the second year of a four-year contract as First Grade coach. One of the most experienced MPL coaches on the Coast, having previously coached First Grade teams at East Gosford and Kanwal, Steve was also a long-term player and junior coach with the club, and is a Life Member, Steve took the First Grade team to the semi-final stage last season. MICHAEL KENNEDY has been re-appointed as Reserve Grade player/coach after stepping into the job early last season and taking the team to the premiership in 2011. Another Life Member, Michael is Wyoming's most capped First Grade player (1997-2010) and was recently elected to the club's Hall of Fame. BRET LOMAX, coach of the premiership-winning First Grade team in 2009, returns to the MPL this time in charge of the new Third Grade team. Bret is the club's highest-qualified coach, holding an FFA C Licence, and is also the club's current Coaching Coordinator. A long-serving junior coach with Wyoming he coached last year's U18A and WPL team to their respective competition finals.
NEW HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES
Sep 18: Michael Kennedy and Ryan Marshall have become the ninth and tenth players to be inducted into the Wyoming FC Hall of Fame. Both were members of the club's dominant First Grade team that won premierships in 2004, 2007 and 2009, as well as the 2007 Champion of Champions competition. Ryan captained the team in the latter three wins before retiring at the end of the 2010 season. Michael is the club's longest-serving First Grade player (1997-2010) and was the player/coach of this season's premiership-winning Reserve Grade team.
WYOMING WINS 4TH RESERVE GRADE TITLE IN 6 YEARS
Sep 11: Wyoming has continued its domination of the Premier League Reserve Grade competition with a 1-0 win over league champions Berkeley Vale in the 2011 Grand Final. It was the team's fifth Grand Final appearance in the past six years and its fourth win, having taken out an unprecedented treble of wins in 2006, 2007 and 2008. Remarkably all four premierships have been under different coaches, all in their first season as senior coaches with Michael Kennedy (2011) joining Paul Winspear (2008), Ryan Marshall (2007) and Greg Preston (2006). The match was decided dramatically when substitute Daniel Edwards scored in the 68th minute, less than a minute after taking the field.
ROUND 9 RESULTS AND MATCH REPORTS
Jun 6: A brilliant performance by First Grade to totally outclass one of the competition favourites. The final scoreline of Wyoming 4 Berkeley Vale 2 didn't indicate the team's total dominance. Those of us who have been watching our team play for many decades are struggling to remember a better team performance - or a better goal than the Surridge/North one in the first half. A different story in Reserve Grade, down 0-4 after 11 minutes, but to their credit they rallied and held their own for the remainder of the match.

Coach's Comments: "I've been saying all year if each player wins his battle on the field then this formation will put teams to the sword. Yesterday's result ... I rest my case!! Each and every one of you gave me everything and I couldn't be prouder of any team I've ever coached than I am of all of you today". (SF)
WYOMING TRIO TO PLAY IN NORTH vs SOUTH REP MATCH
May 26: Wyoming First Graders Nathan Moseley, Daniel Surridge and Jack North have been selected to represent the South team in the annual North vs South match at Pluim Park on Monday 13 June, kicking off at 2pm. The match will be played as a curtain-raiser to the game between Central Coast FC and the Mariners which starts at 4pm.
ROUND 7 RESULTS AND MATCH REPORTS
May 22: Comfortable 4-0 wins in both grades over Wyong in our first Premier League visit to Baker Park in over a decade. Reserve's match was closer than it should have been and it wasn't until Blake Silvers came on with 20 minutes to go that we wrapped up the win. Goals to Blake (2), Mitch and Galey. Two goals in a minute late in the first half had First Grade in control but again we wasted many chances. The Surridge/Falzon combination is working a treat with both of Marc's goals coming from Suzz corners. The other goals to Jack and Eddy, his first for the season.
For a full report on all Round 7 MPL matches including competition tables click here
ROUND 6 RESULTS AND MATCH REPORTS
May 15: Mixed results with Reserves going down 4-2 to Kincumber but First Grade picking up a big 6-1 win. A strange situation with Kincumber unbeaten in Reserve Grade but without a point in Firsts. We struggled early in First Grade and were down 1-0 after half an hour, however as soon as Falzo equalised the Roos crumbled and three goals in seven minutes  had the game under control by half-time.

May 8: Both Reserve and First Grade matches against East Gosford went down to the wire with Reserves scoring twice in the last 10 minutes to turn a 1-2 deficit into a 3-2 win, while First Grade suffered their first loss of the season with an 89th minute decider giving East Gosford a 2-1 win. Reserve Grade's win was their third in a row with Daniel Ballard, Tim Wallington and Mitch Dowzard the scorers. After conceding an early goal First Grade equalised a minute later through a Nathan Moseley header. A typically hard-fought match between the great rivals looked headed for a draw before the Rams clinched it.

SHADES SHINE INDOORS
Apr 26: In the second round of the Wash-Out Indoor League, Shades has bounced back from its Round 1 grand final loss with a penalty shootout win over minor premiers, No Explode. Star of the round was Michael "You're On The Peninsula So Don't Forget Your Steering Wheel Locks" Payne who set a new record with two goals in five seconds. Daniel Ballard was unavailable for comment after his controversial move from Shades to No Explode for an undisclosed transfer fee saw him play in a beaten grand final team for the second time.

ROUND 3 RESULTS AND MATCH REPORTS
Apr 17: We were lucky to be drawn to play on the best wet weather ground on the Coast at Pat Morley Oval and, in the only three matches played over the weekend, picked up wins in both grades as well as in the U18As against The Entrance. In easily their best performance of the season Reserve Grade dominated for most of the match to come away with a confidence boosting 3-0 win with goals to Mitch Dowzard (2) and Dut Atem. After two draws it was important that First Grade didn't lose touch with the leaders and the 2-1 win over the defending premiers and front runners should give us some momentum from here on. Again we dominated the match and, but for a few close misses, we would put it out of reach well before full-time. Instead we had another tense finish. Goals to Marc Falzon and Michael Payne. Coaches Comments: "What a great day for the squad with both grades taking three points. A gutsy team effort by Reserve Grade after a well-prepared training week by Kenno ensured they dug in when required and a well-deserved win by First Grade, sending a clear message to the competition. Also with the 18s winning, confirms we have plenty of depth." (SF)

ROUND 2 RESULTS AND MATCH REPORTS
Apr 10: A couple of harder than expected games against newly-promoted Killarney District. Both teams are settling into new playing formats under their new coaches and the signs are good. Fill-in Reserve Grade player/coach, Michael Kennedy, picked up his first win downing Killarney 2-1 with goals to teenagers Brendan Harris and Blake Silvers. After conceding a goal in first half injury time, First Grade equalised through Marc Falzon in the 83rd minute and were unlucky not to take all three points. ROUND 1 RESULTS AND MATCH REPORTS
Apr 3: A tough start to the season, up against our great rivals Umina. Reserve Grade went down 2-1 with 17-year-old Brendan Harris scoring his first Premier League goal. After leading twice, the first through a spectacular debut goal to 19-y-o Jack North, First Grade had to settle for a 2-2 draw after losing a number of players through injury.
