Last season we had never beaten this Berkeley team, all were draws. We wanted to win it. The girls were very focused. It was set to be a very hard fought game. 

The start saw it pretty evenly matched, Berk had a 1 on 1 with our keeper (or that's what they thought), Kym made a crucial tackle inside the box & won the ball. We lifted a notch & it all started rolling our way. It started with the back line, building up good plays through the midfield & through to the strikers who were on fire. 

We had them rattled. 1/2 time 3-0.

We knew they would come out hard in the 2nd half, but we came out just as hard & it wasn't too long before we put another one away. Boz did a great job keeping a clean sheet & talking to her backs which in turn worked up through the rest of the team.

We kept our heads together, didn't get too complacent, and stay very composed. Every single player gave their all. It was so pretty to watch.
